1970s Fernandes Lawsuit 1968 Telecaster Replica Sorry, this guitar is Not for Sale
|
Fernandes was one of Japan's first Fender and Gibson lawsuit replica makers, and example is truly one
of their finest at the time. Although the headstock decal had been intentionally removed in the past, it is
evident that this all original otherwise. Features 1968 model-accurate closed "F" tuners, an early serial
number on the plate, and a very rare 2-piece bookmatched light ash body. The neck fit is great and the
tone would fool most Fender lovers. This I believe to be one of the first of the "Revival" series guitars, as
the early ones had decals that could be removed, like Fender decals were. There's little wear on this tele
and you'd be hard-pressed to find a vintage natural 1968 telecaster that played and sounded better.
