1978 Greco TL600J Jeff Beck "TeleGib" Telecaster Replica
$1,080.00
This is the earliest replica I have ever seen of the famous "Tele-Gib" that Seymour made for Jeff Beck back in the 70s.
It has a super-nice bookmatched 2-piece light ash body and a killer medium-thick C shape neck.  It feels like the 60s Fenders
did and similar to the modern Custom Shop replicas.  If you haven't read the story of this guitar, you should; it's a really cool
story.  Click
HERE to learn from Seymour himself about the fascinating history of the making of this guitar.
I have waited for this guitar for a long time and was very excited to get it.  It surpassed my expectations, which were
high, due mainly to the extraordinary humbuckers in this guitar.  It really does have that classic PAF-like tone... If you want
that Les Paul tone but without the weight of a Paul, this is your axe.  The frets are smaller, which is the only thing that is
probably not like the original TeleGib, but these are FAST frets and the neck feels nicely broken-in like a good guitar should.
ESP made a few of these circa 2004 and those don't hold a candle to this Greco.  It's quite rare and has GREAT wood & tone.
