1980 Aria Pro II "Leopard" 1959 Replica Solid Flame Top Les Paul Sorry, this guitar is now SOLD
|

Anyone who has ever doubted the quality and craftsmanship of an Aria Pro II needs to take a close look at this guitar.
It is a solid flame top Les Paul, ala 1959-style. They don't come any better than this, people. This guitar is on par with
the old Tokai LS-150 model, also from the same era. Long neck tenon, nitro finish, solid flamed maple cap and really
nice mahogany back with tight grain. In better condition than many "new" Gibsons you see hanging on Guitar Center's
wall of shame. They really knew how to make a good guitar back then. It's a little heavy, but that's what you get with
solid woods and guitars that have no holes drilled in like Swiss cheese to make them lighter. The neck is adorned with
neatly-crowned fret-edge binding, hand-carved, and the overall feel of the neck is uncanny in its similarities to an
original '59. You could spend upwards of $5,000 on a brand-new Gibson of the same quality, if you check around.
