The Lord of the Studio! It surely is - and this one is one of the very first... you can tell by looking at the headstock. The really early ones had the open-book Gibson-style headstock while most later versions had the unique Yamaha headstock design that adorns SA and SG models as well as the SL line. This guitar is in great condition, and also has the coil-tapping option that I like to look for. It's a great feature to get single-coil and humbucking tone and there are so many ways to blend them. Lots of great tone. There are a handful of dings I show clearly below - all cosmetic wear you'd expect from a guitar of this age. Otherwise, no issues. Great fast neck. Great frets - all you'd want and more from a good vintage Paul.
