Man, do I want to keep this one for my own collection. It's a very special order-made 1980s (not sure what year)
LS-150CM. This guitar has a solid flamed maple top. It is in near mint + condition. Also has the original Tokai
hard case that is signed by Greg Allman, I believe. It is simply one of the most stunning Les Pauls I have ever had
the pleasure of playing. The back is 1-piece mahogany, and the neck is 1-piece as well. There is no fret-edge
binding around the fretboard, but that was also specified with the custom order. I was recently schooled on the fact
that not all Les Pauls from the 1950s and 1960s had fret-edge binding. There's one gorgeous example at Emerald
City Guitars in Seattle ($280,000) from 1960 I believe like this. I had a chance to inspect it up close and personal and
was really blown away by this bit. I'm not sure what the pickups are in this Love Rock, but they sound like the MK-II
humbuckers from the era, and though they're not marked, they are original, as is everything about this guitar.
