One of the finest Fender "JV" Stratocasters I ever had. Completely a closet find. Even though it was only
an "85" model, it exceeded the boundaries of the model in many ways. You'd be hard-pressed to find an
instrument to equal it in the world of Stratocasters. I sorely regret selling this one, but there are SO many
guitars out there... I am definitely a gear junkie, as you can easily tell from the rest of my site. I've had a lot
come and go, but there were only a few I think about with a sick stomach. This is one of those. Makes your
heart stop when you first open the case of it. You know you are in the company of a fine, fine instrument.
This guitar far out-performs any Fender Master Grade I've played. You can't create fake mojo. It either is
there or it's not. It takes years for an instrument to come into its own. This one IS for the books.
