Finding a well-made early American vintage reissue is seriously like finding a needle in the
proverbial haystack... there are a lot of them out there and many have serious issues that
impede playing, like poor neck/string alignment, neck/body fit, etc. They all look cool, but it
really isn't easy finding a superb player. This is a fine example of one of the great ones. The
body is one of the very first produced at the Corona, CA, factory, as many were built from the
leftover parts from the Fullerton factory. This body has the correct contours of the early 1960s
Fender Stratocasters. The guitar is 100% original in every way. No fret wear, very straight
neck, and includes all of the original case candy, as it came with when it was new. The only
signs of aging occur on the pickguard, which has aged to an off-white color. Check out the
amazing dark rosewood fretboard, too. They don't make 'em like they used to!
