Now here's a very special guitar... it's a 1988 Fender American Vintage 1962 Reissue
Stratocaster in Dakota Red finish. It's naturally aged, not a relic job. The neck is absolutely
one of the best I have, and has nice and tall frets with little wear at all. It's a light guitar and
very resonant. The body contour is just like the Fullerton-era strats. The pickups really sing
and it's set up nicely with .009s. This one always turns heads, as it really does look like it's
from 1962, authentically without the usual custom shop bumps and bruises. Everything is tip
top on this beauty, and yes, she plays and sounds as good as she looks.
