1989 Greco Mint Collection Gibson 1961 Angus Young SG Replica
Sorry, this guitar is now SOLD
What a gorgeous SG! I've owned quite a few Greco SGs over the years and the wood on this body is just off-the-hook.
It reminds me of my Bacchus SG-61, with really sweet vertical wood grain and with exceptionally-nice nitro finish. Now, I
honestly never had a Greco SG with true nitro finish, but just look at the areas of wear and the texture of the finish... if
it isn't nitro I'd be really surprised. The neck is good, it's a medium C shape, straight, I didn't adjust it at all, I liked the
action just as it came to us.   Fretwear is minimal, fretboard is rosewood and in fantastic shape.  Everything works as it
should and everything is original as well, besides that, like any well taken care of vintage guitar it has a great vibe to it.
For fun I played it through a Princeton Reverb with an Ibanez metal screamer, and the sustain would literally go forever.
All in all it's a great Greco SG and would make a fine addition to anyone's collection.  She's certainly a better SG than
most and nearly vintage at 19 years of age.
