One of my most rare Japanese guitars...  In all of my relentless searching, this is the
only one I have ever seen or heard of.  Most people think this is a Zemaitis replica, but
it isn't.  I agree, there are some real similarities in the abalone shell design and I would
also agree that the Greco luthiers were probably inspired by Zemaitis designs when
they came up with the concept for this guitar, but it is its own beast.  The guitar body
and neck are both light mahogany; the guitar is thin and light despite the larger face.  
Greco equipped this guitar with special U-3000 model humbuckers that have a sweet
tone.  The fretboard is ebony and the craftsmanship is unbelievable.  Enjoy the photos!
