Wow, this is one of the most amazing guitars ever made, it's called the Kawai Moonsault.  Most people don't know this, but Kawai has been building guitars for
around 60 years.  I just wish they would build more guitars like this one.  I brought a Moonsault over to Scott Lentz of Lentz guitars and he was just blown away,
he told me,  "John, you have to open a museum for people to see guitars like this, they'd come from all over just to get the chance to see such amazing
instruments."  Then he told me how a great a company they were and what quality they put into their instruments.  I was surprised because when I saw the guitar,
I wanted it for it's unusual and unique shape, I didn't realize until playing it what a great guitar it is!

Here's the deal on this one, not only is it one of the most unique looking guitars, the build quality is second to none.  It's a light guitar weighing in at only 6.15 lbs.
The neck is medium C shape, it's perfectly straight and made of rosewood.  Action is fantastic.  Did you see the inlays?  Mother of pearl, done in the phases of
the moon.  The binding on the body is totally cool, it's old fashion pearloid.  The color is a lemon yellow very subtle burst.

The electronics are great,  and there are more pickup configurations than you'll know what to do with, due to the coil-tapping that is wired in. For those of you
who don't know, this means that you can switch between single-coil and humbucking tone for each pickup. Add a gain-boost switch, which requires a 9-volt
battery slipped in the compartment in the back, and you have some serious, serious tone. This type of gain is more than Sweaty Teddy would know what to
do with. Pickups are Dimarzios, the sound is classic Les Paul but with a lot more options.  I fool a lot of people with the tone. They want to know what Paul I use
to get that tome sometimes and are always astonished that it came from this guitar, not a Paul at all.

One important thing to note is that this model is the reissue of the original MLY-140. This one is the MS-21C... same specs except that the neck is more secure
than on the original, having the staggered 4-bolt pattern. The neck pocket is very sharp.  It's built as the "21st Century Model."

The condition has to be called 9.9/10 virtually new condtion. It's a very, very difficult guitar to get your hands on. Almost all you see are the MS-70 models, the
ones with passive electronics, which are really cool, too. But, there is no comparison with what this guitar can do. It'll bury any other guitar you put to a test. You
can have authentic strat tone, authentic Paul PAF tone, plus a myriad of mixed configurations, and then when you flip that gain switch, you'd better be centered
and grounded, because it's going to take you for a sonic ride all the way to the moon. This guitar rocks harder than any other guitar out there. James Hetfield's
axes may look tough, but the searing tone and blistering-fast neck on this guitar would most definitely shred that guitar to death with that little switch flipped.

I know beyond a doubt that if you get this guitar, you'll be the only boy on your block with one.  Incredibly rare, fantastic find. Kawai Moonsault!
