I always wanted to buy one of these Greco Paul McCartney replica basses, but never found just
the right one until now. This one is virtually unplayed and has the most incredible flamed back I
have ever seen. It is built much, much better than the original that he used to play. I saw a few
of the originals in Japan because they were popular there and very expensive, but they waned
in comparison. Greco luthiers corrected problems with the neck pocket fit and the feedback
issues and basically redesigned the bass, but with special attention to keeping the design and
appeal the same. Wow did they do a fantastic job with this one. Check out the photos below
and enjoy... you should hear this thing thump. It's got the right Beatles tones, but stays in tune
and is built like a tank, even though it is light and very resonant. It's no doubt why some of the
best Beatles tribute bands in the world play Grecos on stage.
