This guitar is a very unique and special Fender Japan model. The base model is a Fender
ST62-80TX stratocaster, but Fender Japan decided to take this one to the next level with the
metallic burgundy mist finish and matching headstock. It is a real beauty and the fit and finish is
not typical work of their Craft Shop. This one looks to be on par with Fender Japan's Custom
Shop, which may be the case for this one. Char, one of the most famous Japanese blues guitar
players, uses a GRU model that with the same finish. This strat is a cut above in feel, tone,
look and overall vibe. It is as close to mint condition as one can be for a used guitar.
