2001 Combat R9 Super Flame Top '59 Gibson Les Paul Replica Includes Original Hardshell Case Sorry, this guitar is now SOLD
|
Most people outside of Japan have never heard of the Japanese guitar-maker Combat. There are a few
reasons for this... (1) Combat only makes custom-ordered guitars for Japanese collectors and musicians,
(2) Combat guitar prices often vary between $3,000 USD and $10,000 USD and (3) Combat makes very
few guitars since they make them by hand. Usually, if you see a Combat guitar, it is something of a one-off
custom model to buyer specs. This solid top highly-flamed Les Paul is very rare in that it is made to exact
Gibson '59 Les Paul specs and even has Gibson USA vintage '59 humbuckers. The tone, the feel (it is a
light LP), the craftsmanship and finish are all on par with, or exceeds, Gibson Historic specifications.
