I have 3 different and rare Jaco Pastorius replica bass guitars, and I have to say that
this is my favorite. I took the strings off for the pictures so you could see the stunning
fretboard on this bass. The guitar, including the neck, is lacquered to give it a
gorgeous shine and smooth feel. I would put flatwound bass strings on this guitar in
order to keep the fretboard shiny, but that's just me. The bass is sold without strings,
so you can put on whatever you think you'd like. The Alder wood body has the most
well-matched and beautiful grain I've seen under a 3-tone sunburst finish. It will age
amazingly and is just waiting for someone to play it.
