Combat is one of the most high-end guitar companies in Japan.  I bought this George Harrison replica
all-rosewood telecaster in 2005 right before I left Japan, and paid about $3,000 for it.  I know, it sounds
like a lot to pay for a tele that isn't a Fender, but this guitar was marketed at 450,000 yen in Japan!
Almost $4,000 USD!  Crazy, but if you notice in the photos, the rosewood used is of the highest quality
in the world, and was cut and placed in mirror format, so when you look at the bookmatching of the
wood, both sides have exactly the same wood grain pattern.  The photos below didn't come out as well
as I'd like them to have.  Equipped with Lindy Fralin pickups and Wilkinson bridge, there is no other '69
replica Harrison tele that can compare to this one.  A/B it with a Fender Master-built tele and you'll be
amazed. I did, so I know!
