Fender Japan has been making high-end basses and guitars for the Japanese domestic market since 1982, and in
more recent years they decided to expand their Custom Shop division to offer models that even Fender USA doesn't
make in their regular line. This Fender 1975 reissue is one of the finest examples I have ever seen. The neck pocket
is so thin and tight, it resembles is on par with the craftsmanship you'd expect to find with Fender USA's Masterbuilt
series. Truly, this is an amazing bass. It has Fender USA vintage Jazz Bass pickups and all of the details of the
original. It is a special model, as it is a "94" series but has the matching headstock and other custom appointments
that raised the price to 118,000 yen from the factory. It has gorgeous wood and is fairly light for a bass and will age
to some spectacular finish color as it ages. It is in mint condition and comes with all original documentation.
