I don't normally get into the new Fender USA reissues much, but I fell in love with the ice blue
finish, and had to have it. What's one more guitar, you know?! lol
Truth be told, it's a great newer Fender with a good fit/finish. The breaking point for me was
when I saw the pattern of the grain on the neck and headstock. It has a very choice neck that
you usually see reserved for the Custom Shop. I've had lesser Fender Custom Shops than this
regular-line USA model. It's all original and was just one of the rare few that come off the line
looking good AND playing well. Still has the 3-way switch; just like the original 1962 models.
Here's your chance to pick up a Custom Shop quality guitar for the price of a used vintage
series model. The Custom Shop Hard Case is a hard-to-find version as well.
